If you like your home to look extra special this festive season, this is a really good idea I had the other night, I had left over Silver baubles and some mirrored Star, Apples, Pears and balls that I wasn't sure where I could use them.
My Hallway is looking pretty bare, so I decided to get some 3mm ribbons and some 5mm , and make this bauble display. What do you think ?
I made clusters of baubles for the ends of the display, looping the ribbons through the bauble loops, and cutting them randomly, so there was just a big collection of baubles at Random lengths.
I then, did the same with the mirrored baubles, putting them up first with 10cm gaps between them, I used 2 stars in the centre, 1 apple 1 pear and 4 disco balls, and then added glittery cheap baubles inbetween. I used white drawing pins and pinned them into the ceiling plaster.
I think it looks quite modern, but festive. What do you think?
I have a crystal type lamp on the oak table below , you can actually see the base in the photo below!
To make the baubles sparkle a little extra as we were having a few family over, I added some candles under neath the baubles to help them shine and sparkle.
It's a really easy display to make up in an spare half hour, so go on, get some ribbon out!
