In so many senses of the phrase, I think I will be knitting for good now I've found a new skill, however- you can knit for GOOD, to help people and the environment around you.
I stumbled across this book today, on Amazon.
"Knitting for Good!: A Guide to Creating Personal, Social, and Political Change, Stitch by Stitch" - sounds lovely doesn't it! I wish I could knit to create a nicer world indeed!
Then, It felt familiar, and I remembered seeing it on the lovely Sally Fort's Blog a while back, she's written a section of the book. How exciting for you Sally!
I will be reading this soon! Have you guys read and heard about it?
This is a great book, you'll love it! I just picked it up last week and am still reading and re-reading everything!
